Yes, a highly competitive niche rather than saturated one.

The world is constantly changing, so does people's preference. By being unique in content/writing, that 'nobody' still has a shot by reaching like-minded audiences,and be somebody, at least I think so, otherwise I wouldn't still be here. ^^

After 50 years from now,I predict niches would grow to a massive amount, probably more specific than it already has now.

The issue of a saturated niche was previously discussed in one of the recent guess post at Daily Blog Tips, and I agree with it.

For me, there might be overrated niche such as make money online, but I believe it will always have a space for everybody.

As long as one present himself as unique and useful as he can, he can still dominate that niche even if it is a so-called a "saturated niche".

Switcher, exactly that I was saying that Internet is growing at rapid pace and everybody can have its share, provided they give some meaningful and unique stuff.

Boss - Definitely, the term exists and is used every now and then in the blogosphere. As you said that no person will be able to visit all X thousand sites on SEO, so every site will get their own pie and will have their own audience.

I don't think a niche can really be (over) saturated, the reason is, say you have 500 SEO websites, chances are I'll never read them all.

Also, everyone has their own twist to the same subject, I learn a lot from reading others blogs, but all that info that I apply to my own blogs comes from a handful of other blogs, I've also found that the BIG guys in blogging are all hype, the only info I have got from them is, to never be like them (just not my cup of tea :) ).

Interesting post, but I'm not sure if there is no such thing as a saturated or even overly saturated niche. Granted there is a never ending supply of rising Internet users but like Switcher said above...

There can be such a thing as a saturated niche but finding a visitor that has been to every site in a respectable niche is difficult and almost impossible.

The reason the term "saturated niche" exists is only because of SEO. I'm not talking about the niche of SEO, but rather ranking high for certain keywords.

If you search for the word "blogging," Google shows 20 million results.

If you search for the term "home loans," Google shows over 46 million results.

And if you search for term "credit card," Google shows over 243 million results.

So, the term saturated niche definitely exists, it just depends on the context in which you use it.
