Correct, palette rotation is associated with different color combination that are rotated on subsequent page impressions on round-robin basis.

Since each of the used palette is associated with same channel, it's difficult to know which combination is performing well. The color scheme you mentioned can also be tried. It all depends on experimenting and optimizing. Thanks for the visit.

..right? also what about just having the actual link url in black and only the headline in a color..

Social Media sites are good for spreading the word about your content to masses in quick time. Both SU and Digg visitors are least interested in clicking on ads. Mostly, they are looking for interesting stories, resources, news and gossip.

I particularly like the one regarding Social Media sites - there is a lot of hype regarding drawing traffic from these sites but I have also observed a lower CTR from these visitors.

Another great article Rajeev. I've read a lot on adsense and it seems to a very mixed group on whether or not to set up the ads with the same color scheme or different.

I think your article on reducing ad blindness with palette rotation is the best fix and the easiest compromise.

Personally I haven't had any success with adsense and it is currently on my new site. Once I start getting some regular visitors I will slowly integrate one at a time.
